Aunt Cathy's Rye Dip...

Father John's Aunt Cathy had a Super Bowl party at her house and served this delicious dip! It was literally gone within 15 minutes with some people trying to steal the bowl to keep it for themselves. It was a small miracle that our relatives weren't licking the bowl! I think that it will be my new standby for parties!

Ingredients
2 cups sour cream
1-1/2 cups Hellman's Mayonnaise
3 tbsp. minced onion (jar)
1 tbsp. dill weed (jar not fresh)
3 tbsp. parsley (jar)
1 tbsp. seasoned salt

Method
Mix all together and chill for a few hours or overnight. Serve with fresh rye bread cut in chunks.

Note: If you want to be fancy, you can hollow out a loaf of rye bread and fill with dip. Use the hollowed out bread and another loaf for dipping.

You can also use yogurt in place of the mayonnaise. This makes a nice, tangy dip, too.
